"as was his custom" (Luke 4:16)
It was the Lord's regular practice to develop and build relationships with others. Some things can interfere with that happening in my life. I can be haunted by past hurts, eaten up with self-interest and pride, prone to prejudice, consumed by busy activity, or simply self-absorbed with my own interests. Perhaps more people can have room in my life if some of these kinds of junk are hauled out and dumped.
